Philip Feldman, a close friend of board member Jennifer Verbit has recently passed away. He became involved with Wandering Jews of Astoria during the pandemic and attended many of the Zoom Shabbats and activities since he lived in California. Phil was a big postcard collector and enjoyed sending postcards. Next week May 7–13 is National Postcard Week. Jennifer would like to invite you to honor Phil by asking you to send postcards to your friends and family during that week in May. If you would like to be included on Jennifer's postcard mailing list, please send her an email at Geny117@aol.com.

Help Earthquake Survivors in Turkey and Syria
Two powerful earthquakes struck Turkey and Syria on the same day, killing more than 3,000 people and injuring thousands more. Homes, businesses, and critical infrastructure have been destroyed under layers of rubble. Your donation to the Turkey and Syria Earthquake Relief Fund will provide emergency relief and fuel long-term recovery efforts in Turkey and Syria. Donate to GlobalGiving's Turkey and Syria Earthquake Relief Fund here.
