Hello! Join us for some drinks and some learning at Oliver's. Only want to have a beer? Feel like drinking is lame? You can come to either portion! No stress.
Learning at 7:15pm with Rabbinical student, Josh Mikutis
Chatting and drinking at 8:30pm
We are also asking for a small, optional donation to cover the costs of transportation/time for Josh. Any amount is accepted and will be greatly appreciated, but not required. If you have any questions contact Sam Schachter. For more on the event follow the Facebook link. LINK!

pre-chanukah potluck

Let's gather for a Pre-Chanukah potluck at the home of Tami Altschuler! Please bring vegetarian/dairy dishes that correspond with the foods of the season. In addition to latkes, HERE'S a comprehensive list of food and recipe suggestions! Email Tami by Thursday, December 8th to RSVP & to receive the sign-up sheet. We are in the process of securing a location for a December Shabbat Potluck. If you would like to host a future Shabbat Potluck or lead a service, please contact Brian Mawyer.

- The BOAST: Best of Astoria survey (November 2016) is now live, and will be up until November 30, so make your voice heard about your favorite things of Astoria! Enter your email at the of the survey for a chance to win a prize! See the current winners on the site.

- If you want an easy way to help save lives, Astoria Center of Israelis hosting a Blood Drive with NY Blood Center on Sunday, December 11, 10:30-4:30 PM. Drop ins welcome, or contact the office (718-278-2680 / [email protected]) for info or to sign up for an appointment or to help out. Address: 27-35 Crescent Street (Between 30th & 27th Ave.)
