Hey Wandering Jew-Jew! Let's have a pic-a-nic! Come join us on Sunday, October 8th at 1pm as we have an outdoor potluck picnic on Roosevelt Island in honor of Sukkot! There will be two contingents that you can join to get to Roosevelt Island - a ferry contingent, which will be taking the new Astoria ferry, or a biking contingent, which will bike over the small bridge down 36th ave. (Of course, you can always walk or take the subway. However, we are not to be held responsible if Ranger Smith finds you and yells at you.) As always our potlucks are pareve/vegetarian only. If possible, bring a dish that reminds you of the High Holiday season. In addition to apples, HERE'S a nifty list of symbolic food and recipe suggestions! Rain location TBD. Email Jenna Win-Herzog to let us know which contingent you'll join, and to get the sign up sheet. SAVE THE DATE!
