A NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM  Come join us for for a Pay-What-You-Wish night at the Jewish Museum on 2/2 from 5-8pm to see The Television Project:You Don't Have To Be Jewish. This exhibit "explores advertising produced for Jewish audiences or with Jewish audiences or with Jewish content, and examines the way religion,ethnicity, and identity play out on American television". TU BISHVAT POTLUCK DINNER  Join the Astoria Center of Israel for a potluck dinner and service celebrating Shabbat and Tu Bishvat on Friday, February 10th. All guests are encouraged to bring a vegetarian dish to share. Although not required, feel free to incorporate any of the Seven Species (wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates, oil, and honey) into your dish in celebration of Tu Bishvat. The event will be held in the downstairs social hall of the Astoria Center of Israel. at 27-35 Crescent Street, Astoria, NY 11102. Dinner will begin at 6:00pm, followed by a Kabbalat Shabbat and Tu Bishvat service at 6:45pm. Check out the Facebook event! SHABBAT POTLUCK Please join us for our next Shabbat services and potluck.
