Please RSVP with her at [email protected] Volunteer at Met Council's Stand Up For Shalom Bayit For awareness of Domestic Violence (DV) Stand up for Shalom Bayit volunteers will participate in an interactive activity, learning about the realities of domestic violence (DV). After the orientation, volunteers will assemble kits for distribution that contain resources to empower women to leave their dangerous situations. Volunteers will then distribute the kits in heavily trafficked areas. Ultimately, this project will educate hundreds of individuals who might otherwise not know where to go for help. Please feel comfortable hosting 20-25 people in your home. Anyone interested in hosting should contact Ally. If you do not have the space to accommodate a large group but would still like to host, please consider hosting a smaller "unofficial" potluck that can take place in addition to our monthly dinner.
