If you'd like to help organize, please email [email protected]. Dorot Passover Package Delivery Brighten the day of a Senior! Deliver a package and visit a senior for about an hour. Event includes young adult networking brunch & orientation. Then after orientation we will split up in groups of 2-3 to delivery passover packages & visit seniors in their home for at least an hour. All of this will take about three hours. Volunteering will take place on the Upper West Side. Please email Ali Shapiro directly at [email protected] if interested in participating. Shabbat services and potlucks Save the date for upcoming Shabbat potlucks: 4/17 and 5/15. March Happy Hour Thursday, 3/19, 7pm at The Barn. March Trivia Tuesday, 3/24, 8pm at Front Toward Enemy March Book Club Our next book club bagel brunch will be held on March 29th at noon, location TBA. Hosted Shabbat Dinners in the 'Hood In addition to our monthly community-wide potlucks, WJOA encourages anyone who wishes to, to host a smaller dinner in their home. Hosts decide whether to have a service, how many people they can accommodate, and whether or not it is potluck style. This is a great time to meet new and old friends in a more intimate setting. Please contact Ally if you are interested in hosting. 3/20 Ally will host a small vegetarian Shabbat dinner for 8 guests @ 7pm. Please RSVP to [email protected] by March 19. 3/27 Elizabeth will host shabbat for 10 ppl at her home. Services at 7pm followed by a potluck vegetarian dinner. Email her at [email protected] to RSVP.
