Song Share in the Sukkah On Thursday, September 27 at 6:30pm, join the Wandering Jews of Astoria at the Long Island City waterfront for a spirited evening of song in the Sukkah. Come share your favorite folk songs--Jewish or otherwise--and unwind along the East River. Feel free to bring instruments and refreshments, but please no alcohol as this is a public park. RSVP to Lisa at [email protected] Shabbat Potluck in the Sukkah Our next Shabbat potluck is Friday, September 28 at 7 p.m, hosted by Rebecca and Andrew. After abridged services we'll dine alfresco in their Sukkah to celebrate Sukkot and raise a glass to the New Year. For their address, please RSVP by Wednesday, September 26. Schmooze Newz: Blood Drive at the Central Queens Y The Central Queens Y will be partnering with the New York Blood Center to host a Blood Drive on Sunday, 9/16 from 10am to 4pm.
