Shades of Gray: A Mini-Course with Rabbi David Ellenson Virtual
Tuesdays, Jan. 11 - Feb. 1, 5:30 p.m.
Is there an absolute “right” and “wrong?” Are some things unforgivable? Or is “cancel culture” never the answer? Rabbi David Ellenson, PhD, returns to the Central community to help us struggle with these eternal (and possibly un-answerable) questions. These four sessions will explore a variety of issues, from World War II and the Holocaust to contemporary debates over cancel culture and controversies over Israel.
Central Synagogue's 20s & 30s group is excited to announce the triumphant return of TV Club. For this episode, we’re going to do things a little differently. Join Rabbi Dan to discuss the entire first season of the Emmy-winning Apple TV hit Ted Lasso.
Am I doing this work/life balance thing right? How do I want to incorporate Judaism into my own home? Am I really living my values? Jewish Adulting 2.0 is the place to discuss all these questions, and to tackle other meaningful topics! Join Rabbi Dan Ross and Rabbinic Intern Chelsea Feuchs for this 10-week course Thursday evenings starting January 20.
