In response they'll discuss the connections and distinctions between racism and antisemitism, as well as the Jewish community’s responsibility to the fight for racial justice. The event takes place at the Temple Emanu-El Streicker Center, 10 East 66th Street, New York, NY 10065, on March 15 from 7-8:30pm. The event is free, but you must RSVP HERE. Trip to LIC Sculpture CenterWJOA is checking out a local art gallery in Queens and you are invited to join us! The LIC Sculpture Center is located at 44-19 Purves st in Long Island City, very close to the N, Q, R, M, 7, G, and E lines of Queens Plaza and Queensboro Plaza. We'll be meeting there on Sunday, March 19th at 1pm. Admission is a $5 suggested donation, or free if you can provide proof of LIC residence.
