February Shabbat Potluck
Please join us for our next Shabbat services and potluck. It will be held at Lisa's apartment on Friday, February 16th. For the address and to get the signup sheet (for what you're bringing), please email Lisa by Wednesday 2/14 to RSVP. As always, our potlucks are pareve and dairy only. Check out the Facebook event to find out who will be going.
If you would like to host a future Shabbat Potluck or lead a service, please contact Brian Mawyer.
On Wednesday, February 7, Lisa Huberman (WJOA's very own board member!) stars in a solo show at 7 PM at Dixon Place. In the show, “Unpacking Job,” a woman marks the anniversary of her grandmother’s death by re-staging iconic photos of her youth. As she goes through the vintage clothing and jewelry, she meditates on the performative nature of grieving, both in her family and in Jewish scripture, and the legacy of inherited trauma.
