Shmooze Newz: Matti Friedman in Conversation with Lucette Lagnado
On Tuesday, March 12 at 7pm, the Center for Jewish History will be hosting a exciting event. Matti Friedman speaks with author Lucette Lagnado (The Man in the White Sharkskin Suit) about his journalism career, researching and writing his new book, and what Spies of No Country reveals about Israel in the 20th and 21st centuries." Shmooze Newz: BOAST : Best of Astoria Winter Party
On Sunday, March 3, from 4-7pm, come to Oliver's Astoria (37-19 Broadway) to celebrate the BOAST: Best of Astoria 2018 winners! (Oliver's Astoria is a winner for Best Bar for Sports, and see the winners at boast.nyc.) Snacks will be provided, and there will be a cash bar. There will also be live music and a raffle. Signing up by Friday, February 22nd (boast.nyc/party), will be entered into the raffle. Tickets are $15 (+ fee) in advance, and $20 at the door.
